Silver Eagle Group Training Facility

Self-Defense Training Courses
Learning the “whys” is as important as learning “hows.” It’s essential that the knowledge of weapons goes beyond the mechanics of understanding and encompasses purpose, use and practicality.

Here, members/students will be guided through the process of understanding why a particular weapon may or may not be the correct choice. Owning any type of weapon carries with it tremendous responsibility. Such responsibility comes in several forms, but none greater than understanding what it means to be a firearms sportsman or sportswoman. The Silver Eagle Group Self-Defense Training courses are designed to enforce these principals whether you’re learning basic technique or advancing your skills.

Silver eagle Tactical group The Silver Eagle Tactical Group is comprised of instructors from the elite Special Operations community. These instructors are trained in all specialties from offensive and defensive tactics to both foreign and domestic weapon systems. All trainers are certified through the SEG qualification course and held to the highest standard. This elite team oversees all training curriculum and instructors. Safety and Self Defense Sub-section

510: Family and Home Defense Series
The Silver Eagle Group Family and Home Defense Series, as with all SEG Series catalog courses, are made up of course types. The Fixed courses build the foundations of family and home defense and form the basis for the more advanced Variable 510 courses. The Variable courses are influenced by current events that constantly change the scope of the challenges faced by the average American, and by the evolving techniques developed and vetted by the SEG expert instructors.

520: Women’s Defense Series
After in-depth study into the self-defense challenges that face today’s woman, SEG has developed a series of courses that prepare you to be more aware and ready for these potential situations. The Women’s Defense Series shares its structure with other SEG Series courses in that it is made up of both Fixed and Variable courses. Beginning with some of most important techniques such as planning and awareness, the Multi-Purpose Training Room is where this series takes place, using live scenarios to hone skills.

530: Repel-an-Attacker Series
Self-defense takes place on multiple levels and in multiple environments. The SEG 530 series focuses on self-defense techniques and skills outside of the home. To repel an attacker outside of the home with your choice of weapon, or no weapon at all, takes certain levels of learning, awareness and confidence. Repel an Attacker courses will utilize the entire SEG Facility to train students in these essential areas.

540: Children’s Safety Series (parent(s) to attend with child)
Some of the most basic safety and self-defense functions involve our children. However,
there is a true need for researched, tested and organized child-focused safety training. The SEG 540 Series brings child and parent together in a focused learning environment that can also be flexible and fun. Beginning with the basics of personal safety for children and advancing to difficult decision-making and multi-threat environments, kids will come away with a solid basis for awareness and decision-making when not under the protective observation of a responsible adult.

550: Hand-to-Hand Series
The SEG Hand-to-Hand Series focuses entirely on the skills required to defend yourself and/or your loved ones with no weapon other than your own body. SEG employs some of the most progressive Hand-to-Hand instructors in the world, most of whom hail from the United States Special Operations. These instructors have designed a series of courses that teach and challenge our members at all levels, no matter what skill sets they come with. As lifetimes can be spent on the philosophies and associated skills of Hand to Hand defense SEG offers to a limited number of members a Continuous Course of instruction in weekly and monthly iterations.

560: CPR and First Aid Series
No safety and self-defense catalog can be considered complete without certification and courses in CPR and First Aid. SEG is proud to offer these courses to members as a backstop to the most complete safety and self-defense training catalog in the nation.

Specialty Courses Sub-section

810: Survival Scenarios
Coming mainly from the world of United States Special Operations, the SEG Instructors are well-suited to teach members how to survive through a mix of survival-based courses. Indoor and outdoor survival courses will take the SEG Member through the rigors of what it means to survive on one’s own and in a group. While exciting and informative, these courses are challenging both physically and mentally and should be approached with respect.

820: Machine-SEG
has procured several different types of machine guns and will offer members an introductory course to these firearms. Under the expert tutelage of the SEG Instructors our members will learn the history and variety of these weapons in the Multi-purpose Training Room and the respect they deserve on the Shooting Ranges.

830: Scenario House Challenge
The SEG Scenario House Challenge is an event designed for those who want to test their learned self-defense skills. A single scenario is designed and run for three months. Individual SEG Members may attempt the course as many times as they wish with the top 10 scores being displayed for all to see. The incredible flexibility of the SEG Scenario House allows for this three-month competition. This challenge is redesigned on a quarterly basis by the SEG Instructors and the competition started anew each time.

840: Decision-Making Challenge
One of the most critical aspects of self-defense is good decision-making under extreme stress. Yet it is often the most ignored portion of training available to the public. The SEG Decision-Making Challenge is entertaining and teaches members important lessons in this critical skill. This challenge is also revisited on a quarterly basis by the SEG Instructors.

850: Strategy-Critical Challenge
In this scenario-based challenge, problem solving rules as the most significant skill. Strategy must be used in all aspects of the scenario in order to complete the challenge. Much more than a simple shoot /don’t-shoot exercise, the SEG Instructors have designed this challenge to push the participants’ critical thinking further than they may have previously thought possible. During debrief, the participant will learn from the instructor where and why they made any fatal mistakes. Like the other SEG Challenges, this course is revised by the SEG Instructors every three months.

860: One-off Scenario
Specialty Course 860 brings even more creativity to the SEG learning environment. Each scenario is designed by a specific group and runs for approximately two months. These design groups include; Silver Eagle Tactical Group, Silver Eagle Self-Defense Group, Silver Eagle Group Members and Guest Instructors. Members participate by submitting their ideas for a one-off scenario and the SEG Instructors will choose the best.

870: SEGeg Guest Lecture Series
Members can hear and meet guest lecturers and renowned experts from the tactical and self-defense training fields. This continuously changing series of courses will range from
hour-long lectures to week and month-long training events. SEG will bring the latest in these fields to its members and federal and state government clients.

880: SEGeg Manufacturer Representative Series
A lecture series featuring industry experts from the manufacturing and tactical equipment fields will educate our members and government clients in everything from the latest trends and uses to weapons-armorer classes.
