Silver Eagle Group Training Facility

History/Timeline
The story starts with MVM and Continues with the Silver Eagle Group. MVM form Silver Eagle Group to provide the ultimate training facility and instructor group for private sector and government clientele.

MVM was founded in 1979 by three former Secret Service Agents to provide personal security services. Since that time MVM has evolved into a diversified government contractor providing global solutions to the Departments of Defense, State, Justice, Energy, the Intelligence Community and many other clients. MVM is one of the five largest privately held security companies in the U.S., with over 3000 employees worldwide.
Currently, MVM trains, evaluates and deploys one of the most elite groups of Special Operations personnel in the world in support of our clients’ missions and the global war on terror. In addition, MVM-trained staff protect federal employees, property and information throughout the United States on a daily basis.

Trained to Be the Best. A key component to effective security operations is training. MVM has successfully operated a certified training academy since 1988. Over the past two decades, MVM experts have trained thousands of personnel in a variety of areas to include firearms proficiency, static post entry, executive protection/personal security detail, hostage rescue, force protection, prisoner transport and tactical unit training.
In addition to training our own personnel, MVM has been contracted to provide specialized training to foreign and domestic law enforcement and military organizations world-wide, including numerous hostile and austere environments.

The Silver Eagle Group Begins. As threats throughout the world evolve and expand, it is absolutely paramount that the skills of MVM’s personnel are constantly advanced and tested to ensure they are fully prepared to succeed in the environments in which they operate.
It was precisely this need that drove the creation of the Silver Eagle Group. In the words of Dario Marquez, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MVM, “No current facility and training group had the capabilities to effectively simulate and prepare personnel for the dynamic and constantly changing environment in which we operate. So we had two choices. We could settle for what was available or we could exceed the standard and establish one that would meet all of our requirements.”

MVM has combined the knowledge and experience gained from providing security services and training to a multitude of military, law enforcement and intelligence agencies over the past 29 years to not only create an unsurpassed training facility, but also to form one of the most elite training groups in the world – the Silver Eagle Tactical Group.

Silver Eagle Tactical Group (SET-G). SET-G is the most proficient and professional league of instructors available to both government and civilian markets. All instructors possess a Special Operations background honed through time spent in the most dangerous areas of the world. The knowledge and diversity of the staff combined with the SEG tactical range and state-of-the-art Scenario House allows the ability to provide real world training in real world scenarios. Silver Eagle Tactical creates and oversees all curriculum and training. This group of instructors is available for the highest level SEG Self-Defense courses and all tactical and scenario-based training required by government agencies.

Taking the Next Step...The Private Sector. Recognizing that a void exists not only in the training available to MVM personnel and our clients, the Silver Eagle Group was formed to cater to the public sector as well. With state-of-the-art firing ranges, exclusive club memberships and access to the Silver Eagle Self-Defense training catalogue, SEG has created the ultimate
